FAQ
How long does a result take? About 45 seconds on PulseChain testnet with 3 confirmations (~10 s blocks).
What does a request cost? On testnet about 0.0012 tPLS for a dice roll; see Pricing. The reservation is higher and is released after fulfilment.
Can the oracle cheat? It cannot choose or change a result: the proof is checked on-chain against its registered key, and there is exactly one valid output per request. It can delay or withhold an answer, which is why backup nodes, timeouts with refunds, and the security rules exist.
My callback reverted. Can I get a retry? No. The fulfilment is final and billed. Make callbacks unable to revert and test them at their maximum size.
The result never came. Check verity request status. After the timeout the consumer or subscription owner can cancel it for a refund. Treat it as a refund, never a reroll.
Why do my transactions on PulseChain never get mined? Your tool probably sent a 1-wei tip. Set --priority-gas-price 1gwei; see PulseChain notes.
My contract deploys but reverts strangely on PulseChain. Compile for shanghai, and use OpenZeppelin v5.0.x for tokens. Newer OZ versions use the Cancun opcode mcopy.
Is it audited? Not yet. Verity is on testnet; audits come before mainnet.
